Toyota is finally unveiling the Supra for real
It’s been four long years since Toyota teased us with the FT-1 concept back in 2014, but according to Autoblog, the new Supra will be released at the same venue as the concept: The 2019 Detroit International Auto Show, in January.
Although not an official release from Toyota, the news comes from the SupramkV.com forums, where a user noticed Toyota of Germany replied to a question about when the car will debut in the comments of a video announcing the car’s order date in Germany.
It almost feels like the Supra has already been out for a long time, but nobody’s actually seen what it really looks like under all that camouflage. Sure, in the meantime we can guess, but it’ll be great to finally see the genuine article.
The new Supra is being produced in Germany alongside the new Z4, and will share chassis and engine components.
